Hello and Welcome! Many of us cope with stress, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, isolation, grief, and loss. While these challenges are difficult, hope and opportunity can lie beneath. Healing and happiness are possible, and you don’t have to do it all alone. This is where I come in. I help my clients through life’s most difficult transitions. I am a licensed professional counselor with a master’s degree in Psychological Counseling from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. I am also a certified Wellness coach. Let me help you navigate life's challenges and transitions. My therapeutic approach is to treat the whole person through a combination of mindfulness-based approaches, wellness, and traditional psychotherapy/counseling.

Research has proven that there are many benefits to counseling such as increased self-esteem and awareness, improved relationships, and enhanced feelings of happiness.  On the other hand, it is important to know that any type of therapy, while ultimately enriching and healing, can be difficult. For instance, you may express uncomfortable emotions, talk about painful experiences, or try challenging therapeutic activities. I have found that the more engaged and dedicated a client is to the process of therapy, the more effective the results.  I look forward to working together!
