Welcome to Canyon Pines Counseling! It can be really difficult to seek counseling when we need to work through problems, so it is great that you are taking that first step to address the challenges you are facing. We are here to help.

I am currently a graduate student at Adams State University working toward my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am a compassionate and empathetic person with a drive toward helping others. I work to build a strong alliance and working relationship with clients so we can journey through the counseling process together. My approach integrates theories that will work best for the individual as we work toward positive outcomes and wellness.

I am a Colorado native and lived here my whole life. I completed my bachelor’s degree in social sciences at the University of Northern Colorado, then spent some time working in the corporate environment. I have a significant other and two wonderful sons, ages 8 and 16, who keep things busy with school and activities. In my free time I like to be creative and crafty, often working in journals or other fun and visual projects. I also like to read, listen to music, golf, and play board games with my hilarious kids.
