Welcome to Canyon Pines Counseling! By reaching out, you have made the first step in healing relationships and transforming your life! Sometimes we need extra support to work through our problems. We often need accountability, encouragement, or different skills to overcome challenges. Other times we just need a safe space to make sense of our life experiences.
My approach to counseling is client-centered and collaborative. The therapeutic relationship is essential to effective counseling and requires honesty, vulnerability, and courage. I provide a judgment-free space where you can be yourself! I integrate tools from a variety of theories based on your goals. My specialties include anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and challenging relationships. I also have experience working through trauma and attachment issues. I enjoy working with couples and individuals age 12 and up. I strive to meet my clients where they are and understand their goals for growth and healing.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Business - Finance and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental HealthCounseling. I have additional training in Gottman Couples Counseling, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR, and life coaching. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado.
As a parent of a child with special needs, I understand that we all experience challenges in life. We are blindsided by events that change the course of our lives. Other times we feel stuck and struggle to find purpose. I believe each of us has a unique story, and it is an honor to hear yours!
